Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Med Surg Nurse to join our team. As a Travel Med Surg Nurse, you will provide care and support to patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered by physicians
  • Monitor and assess patients' conditions and update medical records
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide quality patient care
  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and medications
  • Ensure that patients receive appropriate care and support during their hospitalization
  • Follow standard nursing procedures and protocols to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients
  • Assist physicians with examinations and procedures as needed
  • Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
  • Adhere to ethical and legal nursing standards

Requirements:

  • Active RN license in good standing
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in med surg nursing
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to new environments and work under pressure
