Position Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients in various settings, crafting personalized treatment plans that cater to individual needs
  • Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional performance
  • Work in tandem with nurses, physicians, case managers, and rehabilitation specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Provide education to patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, home exercise programs, and discharge planning
  • Meticulously document assessments, treatment modalities, and patient progress while adhering to facility and regulatory standards
  • Engage in interdisciplinary team rounds and conferences to ensure holistic and coordinated patient care

 

Qualifications

  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualification from an accredited educational institution

 

Licensing & Certifications

  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • CPR certification is preferred
  • Specialized certifications (neurological, geriatric, etc.) are beneficial, but not mandatory

 

Skills & Qualities

  • Prior experience in a clinical setting is strongly preferred
  • Proficient in treating patients with intricate medical and mobility challenges
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Competency with digital record keeping and clinical documentation systems
