Restore Independence in a Place Where Mountains, Minds, and Community Intersect
If you’re a licensed Occupational Therapist who finds purpose in helping people reclaim their routines, rebuild their skills, and reimagine their independence, this opportunity offers everything you’ve been looking for. Whether you’re a seasoned OT or stepping into the field with fresh ideas and passion, you’ll join a collaborative rehab team that understands how powerful it is when the right plan meets the right encouragement.
Your role will be essential in shaping care that’s not just functional — it’s personal. From working with patients recovering from strokes to guiding someone through adaptive techniques for daily living, you’ll be the creative problem-solver who brings dignity, progress, and possibility into every interaction. Here, clinical skill meets compassion, and you’ll be supported every step of the way.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a full-time Occupational Therapist, you’ll assess each patient’s needs and create tailored treatment plans focused on motor skills, cognition, and independence in activities of daily living. You’ll use evidence-based interventions and adaptive strategies to help patients meet their functional goals, while also educating families and caregivers for continued success at home. Working alongside physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, physicians, and nurses, you’ll contribute to comprehensive care that adapts as each patient’s journey evolves. You’ll track progress thoughtfully and adjust plans as needed, always putting the person before the process.
Why You’ll Love the Team — and the Environment That Grounds You
Our workplace is collaborative, encouraging, and full of energy. You’ll be surrounded by a team that values your insight, supports your growth, and gives you room to lead. Whether you’re building new skills, mentoring others, or simply doing your best work each day, this is a space where you’ll be respected for who you are and what you bring to the table.
And when it’s time to unplug, the surrounding region offers a rare balance of inspiration and peace. Framed by forested hills and the nearby Blue Ridge Mountains, this area blends natural beauty with a strong sense of community and intellectual vibrancy. You’ll find riverfront walking trails just minutes from downtown cafés, historic neighborhoods next to lively college campuses, and four distinct seasons that make every weekend feel like an opportunity. Whether it’s hiking, kayaking, or catching live music under the stars, this is a place that invites you to live fully — both on and off the clock.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll need a current Occupational Therapist license and registration to practice in Virginia, along with NBCOT certification. Previous clinical or rehab experience is preferred, though driven new grads with strong communication and problem-solving abilities are welcome to apply. You should be passionate about patient care, confident in your creativity, and ready to bring empathy and excellence to every session.
Let’s Help People Move Forward — Together
If you’re ready to join a rehab team that believes in thoughtful care, professional growth, and meaningful outcomes, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today and bring your skills, your heart, and your vision to a role — and a region — where your work truly matters.
