We are looking for a highly motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and act as a key resource within the therapy department.

 Job Description:

Occupational therapy (OT) is a vital health profession that uses therapeutic everyday activities, or occupations, to address physical, mental, developmental, and emotional challenges that affect a patient’s ability to perform daily tasks. The key responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist include:

• Assessing a patient’s condition and needs
• Creating treatment plans to address patient needs and help achieve specific goals
• Evaluating a patient’s home and/or work environment and recommending adaptations to improve independence
• Training patients and caregivers in the use of specialized equipment
• Monitoring and documenting progress for evaluation, billing, and reporting

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy or a related field
• Current state License as an Occupational Therapist or willing to apply
• One (1) year of pediatric experience in home health, acute care, or outpatient settings preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
