Job Summary

MLee Healthcare has been engaged by a regional client two hours north of Yakima that is seeking a Vascular Sonographer. Our client is offering a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 for a Staff Vascular Sonographer position, available exclusively to external candidates with a two-year commitment. This role focuses on performing high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations in outpatient settings, following physician orders and standards set by the Society of Vascular Ultrasound. Responsibilities include identifying and documenting vascular pathology, assisting with venous ablations and special procedures in the OR, and participating in quality assurance and improvement initiatives. The role reports to the Vascular Supervisor/Technical Director and demands adherence to departmental policies to ensure the highest quality service.

Essential Duties:

- Independently conduct diagnostic vascular ultrasound exams in line with policies and professional standards.
- Prepare preliminary reports for vascular surgeons, promptly alerting physicians to critical findings.
- Assist in venous ablation procedures and special operations.
- Exhibit strong communication skills with team members and patients, contributing to high-quality patient care.
- Participate in the training of sonographer students and maintain continuing education credits.
- Attend mandatory departmental and quality improvement meetings.
- Maintain professional certification and proficiency in hospital information systems, including EPIC.
- Hold active Basic Life Support (CPR) certification and adhere to Confluence Health's standards of behavior and code of conduct.

Position Requirements:

- Mandatory COVID-19 vaccination, unless a medical or religious exemption is granted.


Required: Completion of a formal vascular technology ultrasound program and one year of clinical experience in a vascular lab, or equivalent education and experience combinations. Active RVT status and a valid state driver’s license are mandatory.

Desired: Experience with computers, keyboarding skills, and email communication.
