MLR is looking for an OR Technician to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals, where we emphasize patient care and professional development, located on the Washington-Idaho border. The OR Technician assists the surgeon during procedures and prepares the operating room. This role includes monitoring inventory levels of surgical instruments and supplies, as well as cleaning and sterilizing all instruments. The technician participates in staff meetings and quality improvement initiatives, and is responsible for decontaminating and sterilizing supplies and equipment in accordance with infection prevention protocols. In the absence of management, this position may involve directing and supervising others. The ideal candidate is open to new ideas, able to work under pressure, and available for on-call duties as needed.

Certifications/Licenses

• Current BCLS Certification.
• Call is required for this position with 30-minute response time.
• One (1) or more years of surgical experience.
• Enthusiasm to advance knowledge and train in required disciplines.
• Surgical Technician Registered
• Surgical Technologist Certification (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
