Echo Technician or Echocardiography Technologist

Responsibilities:
- Perform echo exams:
- Lower and upper arterial and venous exams.
- Carotid arterial exams.
- 2D M-Mode Echocardiography exams.
- Trans-esophageal echocardiography exams.
- Assist in intra-operative exams.
- Conduct holter monitor exams.
- Support Cardiac Rehabilitation.
- Analyze images for accurate diagnoses:
- Skillfully recognize and interpret echo images and waveforms.
- Ensure high-quality results.
- Collaborate with a diverse team:
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and fellow technicians.
- Effective communication is key!
- Document findings meticulously:
- Prepare worksheets with patient history and technical data.
- Properly document in patient medical records.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Echo certification preferred (graduate of a certified training program or Echo-certified registration).
- ACLS and BLS certifications (may be obtained post-hire).
