MLR is seeking a skilled and dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our client’s esteemed hospital team located near Dallas Texas!

 

Key Responsibilities for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist:

  • Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to perform diagnostic procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Schedule: Day shift - 7am to 3:30pm.
  • Review physician orders and patient history to confirm appropriate imaging procedures are conducted.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to obtain high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
  • Maintain detailed records of imaging procedures and patient information within the hospital's electronic systems.
  • Monitor patients during procedures, providing clear instructions and compassionate assistance as needed.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure and comply with regulatory standards.
  • Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting nuclear medicine equipment to ensure optimal functionality.

Nuclear Medicine Technologist Qualifications:

  • Current Texas licensure as a Radiologic Technologist is required.
  • Certification in CPR and BLS is necessary.
  • Texas Medical Board - MRT certification is required.
  • ARRT Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology is required.
