MLR is seeking a skilled and dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our client’s esteemed hospital team located near Dallas Texas!
Key Responsibilities for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist:
- Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to perform diagnostic procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Schedule: Day shift - 7am to 3:30pm.
- Review physician orders and patient history to confirm appropriate imaging procedures are conducted.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to obtain high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
- Maintain detailed records of imaging procedures and patient information within the hospital's electronic systems.
- Monitor patients during procedures, providing clear instructions and compassionate assistance as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure and comply with regulatory standards.
- Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting nuclear medicine equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Nuclear Medicine Technologist Qualifications:
- Current Texas licensure as a Radiologic Technologist is required.
- Certification in CPR and BLS is necessary.
- Texas Medical Board - MRT certification is required.
- ARRT Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology is required.
