Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Junior Systems Administrator to join our team with exceptional experience in product management. MLee Healthcare systems administrator will work closely with our Director of IT Operations and employees to provide IT support to our team 

 

Key Responsibilities:  

System Administration: 

  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, network devices, and related infrastructure components. 
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across multiple platforms (e.g., Windows, Linux, virtualized environments). 
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and proactive maintenance tasks. 

Network Management: 

  • Manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. 
  • Ensure network security and implement best practices for network optimization. 
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network-related issues. 

Security Management: 

  • Implement and maintain security policies, including access control, data integrity, and system backups. 
  • Conduct regular security assessments and respond to security incidents. 
  • Collaborate with the IT security team to implement and enforce security measures. 

User Support and Training: 

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users. 
  • Assist in user training on new systems and applications. 
  • Document and maintain IT infrastructure configurations and procedures. 

System Monitoring and Backup: 

  • Set up and maintain system monitoring tools to ensure system availability and performance. 
  • Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions. 
  • Perform regular data backups and ensure data integrity. 

Vendor Management and Procurement: 

  • Liaise with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and procure IT equipment. 
  • Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions that meet the organization's needs. 

Compliance and Documentation: 

  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures. 
  • Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation as required. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role in IT operations. 
  • Strong knowledge of system and network administration, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and LAN/WAN configuration. 
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). 
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST). 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. 
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
