Help People Heal at Home in the Heart of Central Texas

When your work as an Occupational Therapist begins at someone’s front door, it’s more than a house call — it’s a chance to bring dignity, independence, and renewed purpose to daily life. In this home health role, you’ll join a close-knit, mission-driven care team supporting patients across the greater Central Texas region — meeting them where they are, both physically and emotionally. Whether you're guiding a stroke survivor through adaptive tools in their kitchen or helping an aging neighbor regain the confidence to bathe independently, you’re not just delivering therapy — you're empowering transformation, one home at a time.

Here, every mile traveled leads to meaningful change. And in a community that blends natural serenity with urban vitality, you'll find room to grow your career while staying grounded in what matters most: helping people thrive where they live.

Position Overview

This full-time, flexible-schedule home health OT role provides a unique opportunity to develop deep, trusted relationships with patients in their own environments. You’ll work autonomously while benefiting from the support of a dynamic interdisciplinary care team dedicated to whole-person healing.

Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's goals and home environment

Implement evidence-based interventions to improve motor function, cognitive skills, and activities of daily living

Document and track progress, adapting therapy plans to ensure optimal outcomes

Coordinate with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, nurses, and physicians to deliver integrated care

Promote safety, independence, and wellness to reduce rehospitalization and foster long-term health

Where Care Feels Like Home — And So Does the Community

There’s something special about Central Texas — a magnetic blend of wildflower-lined backroads, warm-hearted neighbors, and creative energy that pulses from every porch and park bench. From the riverfront charm of communities near Kyle to the artsy coffee shops of Georgetown, the region pulses with possibility, offering therapists a chance to care deeply and live fully.

Here, weekends might start with a paddle on the Colorado River and end with live music under string lights. Food trucks serve breakfast tacos alongside Vietnamese fusion, while trails wind past bluebonnets, limestone cliffs, and oak canopies. You’ll find historic downtowns with mom-and-pop shops, farmers markets overflowing with local produce, and vibrant arts scenes fueled by both tradition and tech.

This area is more than a place on the map — it’s a lifestyle. One where state parks and skyline views coexist, where you can swap your scrubs for hiking boots after work, and where patients greet you like a neighbor because, well, you are.

No state income tax, top-rated schools, and proximity to some of the best healthcare systems in the country make Central Texas not just a great place to practice — but a great place to plant roots.

What You’ll Be a Part Of

Our home health team thrives on connection — not just to patients, but to one another. While you may work independently in the field, you’ll never feel alone. Regular check-ins, case collaboration, and shared victories make our team feel like family. We believe in showing up for each other, asking good questions, and always learning — together.

Whether you’re a seasoned OT looking for more freedom in your schedule or a new grad drawn to one-on-one care in real-world settings, this is the kind of opportunity that lets you practice with both purpose and pride.

Let’s Redefine Recovery — One Home at a Time

If you're ready to bring your clinical skills to doorsteps instead of just clinics, and if you believe that independence is as powerful as any prescription, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply today and help us build a community where healing happens at home — and where your own life flourishes in the process.
