MLR is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Critical-Care Pharmacist to join a leading inpatient acute care hospital in a full-time, permanent, direct-hire role. This position offers an exciting career path for pharmacists with PGY1 or PGY2 residency training, focusing on providing specialized pharmaceutical care to critically ill patients. Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient-Centered Care: Deliver expert medication management to ensure safe, effective, and personalized treatment for critically ill patients.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with physicians, nurses, and the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes and enhance overall safety.
  • Medication Review & Management: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of medication regimens, identify potential interactions, and make therapy recommendations.
  • Education & Training: Provide education on critical care pharmacotherapy, including new treatments and best practices, to healthcare providers and patients.
  • Quality Improvement: Support the development and implementation of clinical protocols and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Research & Innovation: Engage in research to advance critical care pharmacy practices and improve patient care outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Completion of PGY1 or PGY2 pharmacy residency.
  • Licensure: Active pharmacist license in the state of employment.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a critical care or hospital setting is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to excellence in patient care.
