Night Shift PCU Nurse
Position Overview: MLee Healthcare is partnering with a top-tier facility located just 40 minutes north of Camden, offering ambitious nurses a pathway to career advancement. As a PCU Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to our patients in the Progressive Care Unit. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patient health, administering medication, implementing care plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Requirements:
- Current RN license in the state of South Carolina
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PCU or similar acute care setting (Preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patient health in the PCU setting
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
