Radiology Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of radiologic technologists and support staff.
  • Ensure the efficient and effective delivery of radiology services.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accreditation standards.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve department operations.
  • Monitor and manage department budgets, resources, and supplies.
  • Provide training and professional development opportunities for staff.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.

Radiology Supervisor Qualifications:

  • ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
  • New Jersey state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (New Jersey DEP License).
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in radiology, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of radiology principles, practices, and equipment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
