Description:
Performs a variety of standard and specialty diagnostic radiographic procedures with accuracy; responsibly administering ionizing radiation using fluoroscopy, computed and direct radiography (including the use of mobile c-arm and x-ray equipment). The responsibilities of Radiology Technologist include (but are not limited to):
- Assessing, evaluating, and testing patients
- Preparing and positioning patients for imaging
- Attending to patient needs during imaging procedures
- Applying and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of radiation protection and safety practices
- Independently performing or assisting a licensed practitioner in performing procedures
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
- Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist’s certification
- BLS Certification
- Pediatric experience and bilingual skills preferred
