Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated CT/Radiology Technologist to join our medical imaging team. As a CT/Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, with a focus on computed tomography (CT) scans, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct CT scans and other radiological procedures following established protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring quality images are obtained.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to obtain necessary patient information and ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Evaluate images for technical quality and perform basic image analysis.
  • Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Assist in the training and orientation of new staff members as needed.
  • Stay informed about advancements in imaging technology and participate in continuing education.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist.(ARRT)
  • Current Oregon Board of Medical Imaging license for CT
  • CPR/BLS certification.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to patient care and safety.

Experience:

  • Previous experience as a CT/Radiology Technologist preferred.
  • Familiarity with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and RIS (Radiology Information System).
