Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for the nursing department, aligning goals with organizational objectives.
- Ensure high-quality patient care by setting and monitoring nursing standards.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff to create a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
- Efficiently manage the nursing department budget and allocate resources effectively.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for nursing practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance interdisciplinary communication.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current and active RN license in the state of New Jersey.
- Extensive leadership experience in healthcare administration.
- Preferred certifications: Nurse Executive (NE-BC or NEA-BC), APRN, Healthcare Leadership.
