MLR is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. The SLP will provide high-quality care to patients with communication, language, speech, and swallowing disorders.
Speech and Language Pathologist Requirements
- Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Ohio
- BLS certification within 30 days of employment required
Speech and Language Pathologist Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Provide therapy services to patients of all ages, using evidence-based practices to improve communication, speech, and swallowing abilities.
- Collaborate with physicians, audiologists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Stay up-to-date with new research, technologies, and treatments in speech and language pathology.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Conduct screenings and provide referrals when necessary.
