MLR is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. In this role, you will provide specialized care to patients with disorders in communication, language, speech, and swallowing.

Requirements:

• Active licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Ohio.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose communication, language, speech, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that address each patient’s unique needs and goals.
• Provide therapy to patients of all ages, utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance speech, communication, and swallowing skills.
• Collaborate with physicians, audiologists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and maintain detailed records in line with regulatory standards.
• Stay informed on advancements in speech and language pathology, including new research, technologies, and treatments.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Conduct screenings and provide referrals as appropriate.
