Full Time - Day Shift 6:00 am to 6:30 pm
MLee Healthcare is seeking a certified or registered Respiratory Therapist to join a tight knit independent community hospital team near Mansfield, Ohio!

Respiratory Therapist Job Summary: The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) is accountable for delivering Respiratory Care Services under the guidance of the Respiratory Care Services Medical Director and Department Director. This entails adhering to specific physician directives, departmental protocols, and procedures while delivering services as delineated in the Respiratory Care Scope of Services.

Respiratory Therapist Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
  • NBRC certified Respiratory Technician or NBRC Registered Therapist licensed by the Ohio Respiratory Care Board.
  • Current State of Ohio Respiratory Therapist Licensure.
  • Successful completion of Neonatal Resuscitation certification.
  • BLS certified.

Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities:

  • Assess Cardio-Pulmonary care given; identify problems and/or need for improvement; communicate information to department director, physician, or charge nurse to assess patients' needs and health status as required.
  • Communicate to charge nurse or physician assistant with Cardio-Pulmonary Quality Assurance activities, as requested.
  • Provide skilled, evidence-based care competently under the direction of a physician and evaluate the efficacy of problem-solving techniques and activities implemented to improve the department.
  • Assists in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs.
  • Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards, obtains and documents allergies, medications, procedures, immunizations, past medical history, family history, social history, chief complaint, and vital signs.
