Job Overview:
MLee Healthcare is searching for a vital member of our interdisciplinary sports medicine team, the Athletic Trainer (AT) will provide on-site athletic training coverage at designated schools and community events. Under physician supervision, the AT will offer a wide range of services including prevention, clinical evaluation, diagnosis, immediate care, treatment, rehabilitation, re-conditioning, organization, and administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- On-Site Coverage: Deliver athletic training services at assigned schools and community events as directed.
- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive care including prevention, clinical evaluation, diagnosis, immediate care, treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with Premier Health standards.
- Professional Practice: Pursue ongoing education and stay updated with industry developments.
- Public Speaking: Engage in public speaking to promote and educate on sports medicine.
- Cost Management: Support cost management efforts within the sports medicine department.
- Customer Service: Offer exceptional service to athletes and stakeholders..
Educational Requirements:
- Minimum Level: Bachelor’s degree
- Degree Type: Bachelor of Science or equivalent
- Major/Area of Study: Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or a related field
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Current Athletic Training license in the State of Ohio
- Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification
- National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification
Experience:
- Minimum Required: No prior job-related experience
- Preferred Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience
