Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Cancer Center / Oncology 

Location: Central Ohio

Employment Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

Shift: - Days, M-F 8AM to 4:30PM

 

All RN positions pay between $30-$47/hr, not including the $5 shift diff for nights and additional $2.00 differential for weekends

 

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our client's Medical/Surgical Floor team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and monitor patients' conditions, vital signs, and overall well-being.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patients' medical histories and current needs.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
  • Assist with diagnostic tests, surgical procedures, and other medical interventions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including documentation of observations, treatments, and outcomes.
  • Provide compassionate support and address patients' and families' concerns and questions.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.
  • Participate in continuous education and professional development to stay current with medical advancements and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Previous experience in a medical/surgical nursing setting preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical and surgical procedures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
  • BLS/ACLS certification required.
