MLR is seeking a certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a leading healthcare facility near Bakersfield, California!
Nuclear Med Tech Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for imaging or treatment.
Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment.
Ensure patient safety and adhere to regulatory standards.
Collaborate with physicians to interpret diagnostic results.
Nuclear Medicine Technologist Qualifications:
High school graduate.
Completion of two-year ARRT nuclear medicine program with ARRT or NMTCB certification required.
Two years of full-time experience in clinical nuclear medicine technology preferred.
One year experience in nuclear cardiology preferred.
Expertise training needed in dealing with age-specific populations.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required and maintained.
Nuclear Medicine Technologist California license required.
