Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA accredited school of Radiology
• Meet basic requirements for the ACR accreditation
• Registered by the ARRT
• CPR Certified

Radiologic Technologist Job Functions

• Interacts with patients, providers, and staff in a professional and courteous manner to ensure patient safety.
• Produces high-quality and accurate diagnostic X-rays.
• Assists with equipment maintenance to ensure both patient safety and proper functioning.
• Reviews cases with the Radiologist to verify the accuracy of clinical data obtained.
• Performs intravenous access techniques as necessary.
• Demonstrates cleaning procedures for rooms and equipment between patients.

About the Radiologic Technologist Position

• Knowledge of anatomy and pathology seen on x-ray 
• Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions
• Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above
• Ability to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner
• Strong computer skills and basic Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations
• Ability to work autonomously and as a team
• Capable of making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Ability and knowledge to complete job functions at all Ridgeview Imaging locations
• Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above
