MLee Healthcare is seeking a skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technician (Sonographer) to join our dynamic imaging department in the Boston area. As an Ultrasound Technician, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to provide accurate and timely diagnoses through advanced ultrasound imaging technology. Responsibilities for an Ultrasound Technologist:
- Perform ultrasound examinations with precision and proficiency, adhering to established protocols.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
- Prepare and position patients correctly for optimal scan quality.
- Operate ultrasound equipment proficiently and make necessary adjustments to obtain high-quality images.
- Perform a variety of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, and vascular studies.
Qualifications for a Sonographer:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of general ultrasound experience, with OB experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on delivering compassionate patient care.
