Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

MLR Healthcare is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients, using your expertise to improve their respiratory function and overall quality of life.

Requirements:

• Graduation from a two-year or four-year Respiratory Care Program (preferably accredited by CoARC)
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) license in Ohio or a temporary RT permit
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required (can be obtained upon hire)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 180 days of hire

Job Summary:

As a Respiratory Therapist at our facility, you will be pivotal in delivering high-quality care to our patients. Your role will involve:

• Assessing and treating patients with respiratory issues
• Managing ventilators and performing diagnostic tests
• Developing and implementing respiratory care plans
• Administering treatments such as aerosol medications, oxygen therapy, and mechanical ventilation
• Monitoring patient progress and modifying treatment plans as necessary
