Position Overview: 

MLR Healthcare is seeking a certified Radiation Therapist to join our oncology team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in administering radiation therapy treatments while prioritizing patient comfort and safety throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by oncologists.
• Prepare and position patients accurately for treatment delivery.
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Monitor patients for any side effects and provide necessary education and support.
• Maintain precise patient records and documentation to comply with regulatory standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field from an accredited program.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (RT(T)) and state licensure in Illinois.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
