Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and conduct radiation therapy treatment planning using advanced software and techniques.
- Perform quality assurance tests on radiation equipment and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Work closely with Radiation Oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and enhance treatment plans.
- Provide training and support to staff on radiation safety protocols and procedures.
- Engage in research, quality improvement projects, and other departmental activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Medical Physics, Radiation Physics, or a related field.
- Board certification or eligibility in Radiology Therapeutic Physics or Medical Physics required.
- Experience with 3-D conformal planning.
- Strong analytical abilities and keen attention to detail.
- Completion of a two-year residency in Medical Physics preferred.
