Speech Language Pathologist
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat clients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to assessment findings and specific client needs.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain precise and timely documentation of patient progress and therapy sessions.
- Educate and support clients and their families on effective communication strategies.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and stay informed about best practices in the field.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Illinois state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in a clinical setting is advantageous, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
