About the Role:
We are excited to present a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated and skilled Dual Modality CT/X-Ray Technologist to join our innovative healthcare team. In this versatile position, you will utilize both CT and X-ray modalities to deliver critical diagnostic imaging services, playing a pivotal role in enhancing patient care and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Diagnostic Imaging: Execute high-quality CT and X-ray procedures with precision and attention to detail.
- Patient Care & Safety: Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of patients throughout their imaging exams.
- Accurate Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, ensuring all imaging data is properly documented.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive diagnostic insights.
- Safety Protocols: Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including radiation safety guidelines and regulatory standards.
What We're Looking For:
- Education:
- Graduate from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology (required).
- Certification / Licensure:
- State licensure permitting diagnostic CT exams and documented training in CT.
- ARRT registration and certification in radiography with documented CT training.
- Certification in nuclear medicine technology by ARRT or NMTCB with CT training.
- Active registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Experience:
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in radiologic/imaging.
- Certification in CT registry within one year of hire.
- Strong knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- High-level understanding of cross-sectional anatomy.
- Proficiency with major CT/X-ray equipment, including GE, Siemens, and Toshiba.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree (preferred).
- Specific experience and advanced training in CT (preferred).
