Physical Therapist – Inpatient Setting

Positions Most Key Responsibilities:

• Conducted physical assessments and developed individualized therapy plans for inpatient patients.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions to promote mobility, strength, and functionality.
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on proper exercises, techniques, and health strategies to enhance recovery and prevent further injury.
• Documented and maintained accurate patient records, tracked progress, and updated treatment plans as needed.
• Ensure that all therapeutic practices adhere to safety standards and clinical guidelines.

Credentials:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Iowa.
• Strong clinical knowledge and skills in inpatient rehabilitation therapy.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Previous experience in an inpatient setting is preferred but not required.
