Physical Therapist ā Inpatient Setting
Positions Most Key Responsibilities:
- Conducted physical assessments and developed individualized therapy plans for inpatient patients.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions to promote mobility, strength, and functionality.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on proper exercises, techniques, and health strategies to enhance recovery and prevent further injury.
- Documented and maintained accurate patient records, tracked progress, and updated treatment plans as needed.
- Ensure that all therapeutic practices adhere to safety standards and clinical guidelines.
Credentials:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Iowa.
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills in inpatient rehabilitation therapy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Previous experience in an inpatient setting is preferred but not required.
