Performing preparation of routine gross tissue specimens for microscopic examination by pathologist, including surgical, autopsy, research and outside cases.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Schedule: Days/Nights Pay: $61,544 - $82,464&nbsp;Key Responsibilities:&nbsp;<ul><li>Operate instrumentation for tissue dehydration, section clearing, impregnation with paraffin, cutting tissue sections, and staining of slides&nbsp;</li><li>Prepare solutions, stains, and reagents in accordance with standards written procedures&nbsp;</li><li>Operate and maintain all histology area lab equipment in proper state of readiness, cleanliness, and sharpens and hone microtome knives&nbsp;</li></ul>Requirements:&nbsp;<ul><li>National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS)&nbsp;</li><li>Bachelors or Associate Degree&nbsp;</li><li>ASCP or AMT&nbsp;</li><li>BLS&nbsp;</li></ul>
