Position Overview: Are you ready to be the hero who captures those crucial MRI images that help patients on their path to recovery? MLee Healthcare (MLR.org) is seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Tech to join our esteemed team at a premier healthcare facility in South Connecticut. As an MRI Tech, you’ll operate top-of-the-line MRI scanners, ensuring our patients are comfortable while producing high-quality images. Your role is essential, and we believe it should be filled with joy, camaraderie, and a little bit of fun!
Key Responsibilities:
- Make every patient feel like a superstar by guiding them through the MRI process with a friendly approach and calming demeanor.
- Use our state-of-the-art MRI equipment to capture detailed images of organs, tissues, and structures, helping our team diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on MRI machines to ensure they’re always in top shape for optimal performance.
- Work closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and contribute to comprehensive patient care.
- Accurately record and manage patient information, imaging results, and any other relevant details in our electronic health systems.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure and comfortable environment for both patients and staff.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) and state licensure as required by Connecticut.
- Previous experience in MRI imaging is preferred, but a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are key!
- Strong communication skills, a patient-centered approach, and a knack for problem-solving. Bonus points if you have a great sense of humor and love working as part of a team!
