Job Overview: 

MLR.org is seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our client’s exceptional healthcare team. In this vital role, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality respiratory care to patients with breathing and cardiopulmonary conditions.

 

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans. You will also perform essential diagnostic tests and administer therapeutic treatments to improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities: 

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in improving patient outcomes through advanced respiratory care. You will be responsible for the following:

  • Deliver cutting-edge treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosol medication, and bronchial hygiene techniques.
  • Continuously monitor and adjust respiratory care plans based on vital signs, oxygen levels, and blood gas analysis.
  • Manage and operate life-support equipment such as mechanical ventilators.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests to assess lung function and determine the level of respiratory impairment.
  • Respond rapidly to respiratory emergencies with expert resuscitative care, medication, and airway management.

Qualifications: 

MLR.org is seeking a compassionate, skilled Respiratory Therapist who meets the following qualifications to join our client's team:

  • Licensure: 
    • Current unrestricted license to practice in Colorado or eligibility to obtain by start date.
  • Certifications: 
    • NBRC RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required.
  • Experience: 
    • At least 2 years of clinical experience, working with a diverse patient population. 
    • Neo-natal experience is strongly preferred.
