Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment: Review and assess patient information, and conduct functional assessments.
- Care Planning: Develop and implement personalized care plans with patient and family input.
- Therapeutic Intervention: Administer therapy per physician orders and document progress.
- Productivity: Meet targets, managing 9-12 patient visits daily.
- Supervision: Train and supervise Rehabilitation Technicians in treatment procedures.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with physicians, patients, and hospital staff on patient care.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on procedures, risks, and home care programs.
- Continuum of Care: Ensure smooth transitions for post-discharge rehabilitation.
- Departmental Participation: Attend meetings and contribute to quality improvement.
- Supervision & Education: Supervise students and pursue continuing education.
- Compliance: Follow all regulatory and professional standards.
- Other Duties: Complete additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy
- Licensure / Certification:
- Current CA Occupational Therapist License
- Skills:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.
