Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurse to join our dynamic team. As a PICU Nurse at the hospital, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, family-centered care to critically ill pediatric patients. You will work in a challenging yet supportive environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our young patients.
Responsibilities:
- Clinical Excellence: Provide expert nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU, utilizing your advanced knowledge and skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Patient Advocacy: Serve as an advocate for pediatric patients and their families, ensuring their unique physical and emotional needs are met with empathy and understanding.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Work collaboratively with physicians, respiratory therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
- Critical Thinking: Demonstrate exceptional critical thinking skills to assess and respond promptly to changes in the patient's condition, providing timely and effective interventions.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent degree.
- Current California RN license.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
