Position Overview:
MLR.org is seeking a skilled and motivated Ultrasound Technologist to join the medical team of one of our top-tier clients. In this crucial role, you’ll perform specialized ultrasound procedures that are essential to diagnosing and treating patients effectively. Your technical expertise and compassionate care will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging that helps guide physicians’ decisions and treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, OB/GYN, retroperitoneal, and vascular scans, with precision and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with physicians during specialized procedures such as needle biopsies and amniocentesis, providing expert scanning and patient support.
  • Tailor imaging techniques to meet individual patient needs for the most accurate diagnostic results.
  • Ensure patient comfort, safety, and proper positioning during procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure thorough documentation of all examination data.
  • Operate and calibrate ultrasound equipment according to clinical protocols and physician guidance.
  • Adhere to all safety, environmental, infection control, and quality assurance standards.
  • Provide compassionate, age-appropriate care for patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics.
  • Pursue ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in sonography.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Completion of an approved Sonography training program.
  • Licensure: Active registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
  • Certification: Current CPR certification.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience with abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, small parts, and echocardiogram procedures.
